Liturgical Day: Reformation Sunday
Each year on Reformation Sunday (the last Sunday in October) we remember and give thanks for Martin Luther and the other 16th Century Reformers who helped the Christian church into a new beginning. Their legacy reminds us of how important it is to be grounded in the Word of God, be rooted in the promise of Christ, and be committed to live as his followers. Jesus describes this life as one that loves God with all of our heart and soul and mind and strength, and loves our neighbor as ourself. What does this look like today, in our lives?
